Switch-box material

One of our main suppliers for switch-box material is Kraus & Naimer. For example: they have airco-switches, gate-switches and many more.

The new series offers a 4 pole switch body and symmetrically placed contacts. The adjustable length trough shaft offers increased stability and permits interlocking devices to be added at the end of the switch. While reduced forces of the latching mechanism allows easier operation.

The safety level of the KH/KHR-series in numerous areas surpasses those of many international standard organizations:

Positive contact movement during making and breaking operations.

Higher air creepage distances for 690V.

Finger-proof terminals (protection IP20) up to 40A.

Excellent AC-3 and AC-23A making and breaking capabilities providing an additional safety advantage.

For connecting with ring type terminals the KHR-series was designed. The terminal screw is held in place by a clamp allowing the ring type wire lug to be easily inserted in the main terminal and tightened.

The KH/KHR-series affords significant advantages during mounting and wiring. For ease of installation, switch terminations are on the same plane as the power conductors. Captive plus-minus screws and integrated screwdriver guides reduce the wiring time. All base mounted switches feature a two hole mounting as well as a 'quick mount' designed for standard DIN rails according to EN 50 022.
